Driving Works – quality assured

Driving Works is committed to providing high quality driving lessons in Lincoln and the surrounding Lincolnshire area. Driving Works is recognised by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) as a fully-qualified Approved Driving Instructor. We endeavour to provide you with the exact learning requirements and driving lessons suitable for your driving needs. Our Driving Works.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your driving lesson with Driving Works, please inform us as soon as possible. Payment will not be required for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the driving lesson is due to take place. Driving lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a full lesson charge. We reserve the right to apply full charges for any pre-booked lessons that you fail to cancel in advance.

In the unlikely event of Driving Works being unable to provide your pre-booked driving lesson, you will not be charged, and your scheduled lesson will be provided at the earliest possible opportunity.

Inclement weather

Under normal circumstances, inclement weather conditions will not affect your driving lesson – Driving Works will guide you through the valuable driving experience, whatever the weather.

However, should inclement weather conditions make it impossible for you to undertake a driving lesson, you will not be charged.

Practical driving test

The familiarity of taking your practical driving test in your regular driving school car will increase your confidence and comfort – hopefully increasing your chances of passing. Driving Works is happy to provide you with our driving school car for your driving test, at the current hourly fee.

Driving Works recommends a 1.5 hour driving lesson immediately prior to your practical driving test.

Should your practical driving test be cancelled by the Driver and vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), you should be informed 48 hours in advance; if so, please inform Driving Works as soon as possible.

Should your practical driving test be cancelled by DVSA after your preceding hour’s lesson has begun, you will be charged for the lesson at full price, but not required to pay for the subsequent hour. In such circumstances, some charges may be reclaimed from DVSA; please ask for details.
